Specification Compliance
We at CITY BRIDGE GENERAL CONTRACTING feel that one of the most vitally important issues that affect the quality of services provided is the thorough understanding of the client’s and/or consultant’s requirements. These requirements are then analyzed, and acted upon respectively.
Drawing and Design Charge
Once drawings are received a numbering system will be adopted and assigned to each and every drawing. This procedure ensures that all drawings are easily differentiated and all updated drawings are directly forwarded to the concerned staff. Moreover, this procedure guarantees that the carried-out works are performed in accordance with the latest drawings hence ensuring the interpretation and inclusions of all alternations. Before the final drawing and specifications are being forwarded to the supplier and orders are made. CITY BRIDGE GENERAL CONTRACTING always allows for client’s and / or consultant’s final revision and approval, eliminating any possible dispute that might arise due to last minute alternation.
Procurement Control
Following the finalization of drawing and specifications approvals, the suppliers/ manufacturers will be contacted to submit their quotations and reference. These quotations will be analyzed and subjected to a detailed comprehensive study to select the best supplier/manufacturer that meets the final accepted specifications. Following which, the procurement documents are updated and filled accordingly. Copies of the same will be sent to the client/consultant for their review and final approval. Finally, firm orders are placed with the supplier/manufacturer that meet the intended scope
Factory Test
Manufacturer / supplier are asked to do routine tests at their factory to ensure safe and proper operation of the material/equipment. Third party (independent) inspection agencies will be hired to witness or performed the required testing and issue their approval certificates.
Control of Material Reception, Storage and Handling
Before storing the material, all shipment documents will be crosschecked with the corresponding order to ensure their compliance with the individual requirements. Following which, the material will be properly marked according to their quality, purchasing documents and characteristics. Defective material will be clearly marked and identified. Storage and handling of the material will be performed in manner that maintains their identification and accessibility. Periodic inspections are carried-out to check the materials status.
Inspection / Installation
After the completion of each installation phase, a thorough inspection will be performed to see whether it complies with the drawings and applicable standard. Any notices defect or discrepancies will be recorded and corrected at the earliest.
Final Test / Inspection
All equipment and materials will be tested as per the manufacturer’s standard instructions and their corresponding performance data will be recorded. The results will be forwarded to the client / consultant for their verification and approval. A copy of the test results will be forwarded to the manufacturer, as well, to cross check with the design performance. The final test and inspections will be accomplished according to a predetermined and agreed procedure that indicates the date, objected, involved parties and others. The results will then be furnished to all concerned parties including the supplier.
Documentation
Following Project completion necessary copies of as built drawings, test results, agreed upon specifications, approved alterations and others, will be documented and forwarded to the client/consultant for their reference and records. In particular cases, photographs and microfilms will be produce and kept as records for future references. All documents record saved for record; therefore, documentation work will be done professionally.
